Tall Natural Palm Basket, Handwoven in Oaxaca

Ample enough to use for holding laundry, or sewing and knitting supplies, this multipurpose decorative basket can be used to store toilet tissue or towels in the bathroom, magazines in the living room, or whatever else suits you. This is a traditional palm basket from Oaxaca ‘s Mixteca Alta region where villagers use it to carry foodstuffs from the fields. The strap goes around the forehead and the basket is suspended down the back! Measures 12” diameter and 16” high.
