These are likely Otomi. The Otomi people are indigenous to central Mexico. They primarily live in the states of Hidalgo, Mexico, Tlaxcala, Querétaro, and Puebla. They have a rich cultural heritage and speak the Otomi language, which is part of the Oto-Pamean language family. The embroidery is lovely and well-made. The back covers are brilliant royal blue with a zipper closure. Measures 12” x 16”. Does not include pillow forms.
