Flower Garden Cross-Stitch Blouse, Chiapas

Wear a flower garden this spring and summer with this intricate cross-stitched blouse from the highlands of Chiapas, Mexico.  The cross-stitch design is the same, front and back. They will notice you coming and going! It takes women a month or more of work to make these intricate embroidered designs. The color motif here is predominantly wine red, burgundy, and the leaves and vines tangled throughout the pattern are a lively green. It looks like a stained glass window.
