Black and Natural Palm Basket, Oaxaca

Ample enough to use for holding sewing and knitting supplies, this multipurpose decorative basket can be used to store toilet tissue or towels in the bathroom, magazines in the living room, or whatever else suits you. This is a traditional palm basket from Oaxaca’s Mixteca Alta region where villagers use it to carry foodstuffs from the fields. The strap goes around the forehead and the basket is suspended down the back! Measures 10-1/2” diameter and 13” high.
