Almost Turquoise Blue Woven + Embroidered Blouse, Chiapas

Hand-woven on the back strap loom in Magdalena Aldama, Chiapas, this blue and magenta blouse reads turquoise because of the way the two colors blend together. Notice the magenta and blue embroidered trim around the neckline and the magenta stars embroidered on the shoulders. This is a comfy, easy to wear 100% cotton blouse that will give you many years of enjoyment. It comes from one of our favorite cooperatives in the highlands, about two hours from San Cristobal de las Casas. You can machine wash it on gentle with a mild detergent and hang to dry. Measures 24″ wide x 28″ long.
